Year 2023

Data on High-Risk Zone Objects in Recent Years

It’s notable that in recent years, there has been a significant rise in the number of settlements located within high-risk zones of geological processes. In 2004, there were 342 settlements in similar danger zones, while in 2022, this number rose to 1523. The graph above illustrates the dynamics from 2004 to 2022.

A counter-trend is observed in the increase of settlements in terms of residential buildings within the high-risk zone. Compared to 2004, there has been a sharp decrease in the number of residential houses within the high-risk zone. In 2004, 6,042 houses were within the high-risk zone, whereas in 2022, only 1,514 houses are located within the high-risk zone. The graph below illustrates the dynamics from 2004 to 2022
