In recent years, there has been a significant uptick in geological processes in Georgia, particularly landslides and mudslides. For example, the number of activated or newly formed landslides increased from 325 in 2012 to 1120 by 2022. A detailed overview of the dynamics between 2012 and 2022 is depicted in the graph below.
